How it works
You appoint a local person as the advocate to provide a point of cohesion and communication for your local group.
We provide a telephone number dedicated to your telephone broadcast group plus a secure browser console for the advocate to manage members and preferences.
Dial the telephone number to listen to recent recorded messages and also to record and send out new messages to the members.
The system dials members mobile and landline phone numbers and plays the recorded voice message, and a text version is sent by email and SMS. The text version instructs the recipient to dial the phone number to listen to the recorded audio message.
The secure browser console enables the local advocate to manage members telephone numbers and email addresses, and manage preferences such as who is allowed to send new messages and whether you want each new message to be vetted prior to sending out.
Sending a telephone broadcast
Simply dial your dedicated telephone broadcast number and follow the prompts.
The first prompt provides the option to listen to the last recorded message or record and send a new one.
Once you have recorded a new message the system will ask you to confirm this message is to be sent or re-recorded. It will then ask you to confirm a second time that you want the message to be sent.
After the second confirmation the system dials all membersí landline and mobile phones and plays your recorded message, while simultaneously sending a text version by email and SMS.
The text version instructs the recipient to dial the phone number to listen to the recorded audio message. The recorded voice version is played on the telephone to the recipient.
